David Nilsson, PA-C

David Nilsson, an internal medicine physician assistant, earned his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University. College anatomy and physiology classes inspired him to pursue a career in medicine. He completed his residency from University of Utah, Department of Family and Community Medicine.

David’s mentor, a physician assistant who practiced with his family doctor, guided him toward choosing family practice. He finds the everyday challenges of treating patients gratifying and humbling. He takes every opportunity to keep abreast to changes in clinical management by reading medical journals.

Being raised on a ranch in Canada and having served in the US Army, David enjoys spending time outdoors , and travelling with his family to experience new cultures and cuisines.
