Parikshat Sharma, MD

Dr. Parikshat Sharma completed his medical degree and internship from India in 2002. After moving to the United States, he engaged in a two year clinical research program in movement disorders at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. On becoming board certified, Dr. Sharma commenced medical practice as a hospitalist for Central California Hospitalist group. He then went on to establish the Golden State Hospitalists group for which he serves as the Medical Director.

For all his professional and academic achievements and research, Dr. Sharma is most comfortable in the hospital setting where he rounds on patients and stabilizes the health of his patients. Dr. Sharma has a passion for managing complex admissions and challenges himself by bringing together the best care team of doctors and nurses to deliver an effective, comprehensive care plan and clinical intervention. On a daily basis, Dr. Sharma communicates with family members to provide comfort and update on patient status.

On his free time, Dr. Sharma enjoys listening to music, traveling with his family and being outdoors with his two sons.
