June Somsin Salvo, DO

Internal Medicine

Dr. June Salvo (formerly Dr. Somsin) majored in Biochemistry at University of Arizona Medical School in Tucson, Arizona. After graduating in 1995, she was accepted to Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific. On completing medical school, she commenced her three-year Internal Medicine residency at White Memorial Medical Center, where she was appointed the Chief Resident during her final year. Appreciating the Los Angeles’ mild climate, Dr. Salvo continued on at White Memorial Medical Center as an internist, clinical preceptor, and lecturer.

With her penchant for clinical practice, Dr. Salvo spends time in getting to know her patients and learn how best to render effective care. She reviews medical practice guidelines routinely and maintains abreast to new studies and treatments. She strongly believes that effective communication with his patients translates to higher patient compliance. Dr. Salvo’s reassuring and personable manner makes her endearing to the patients.

Dr. Salvo takes pleasure in everyday activities like cooking and listening to music, however when opportunity presents she is off traveling with her family to far away destinations.
