Idalia C Ablin, FNP

Idalia C. Ablin is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and licensed by the state of California to provide family-centered healthcare to all spectrum of ages. As a Bakersfield resident, she attended California State University to earn her BSN in nursing in 1999 and then continued on at CSUB to complete Nurse Practitioner training in 2001.

Since that time, she has accumulated over 18 years of nursing experience and education in various areas of patient care (Home Health, Wound Care, Urgent Care, Family Practice, Workman’s Comp, and Public Health). Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common and complex health care problems beginning in childhood and continuing through the aging process. She has worked for various healthcare organizations in Kern and finally established Clinica Del Valle/Valley Family Clinic where she holds the position of the administrator.

Idalia has a strong nursing skill-set and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a trusting relationship with her patients and seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking the time to understand their needs in order to structure the most effective health plan and consequently a better outcome.
