Sara Bowens

Sara Bowen is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, and licensed by the state of California. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from California State University Bakersfield with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014. In 2020 she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Master of Science in Nursing from California State University Bakersfield. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Sara cared for patients as a Registered Nurse in the hospital setting as a post anesthesia care unit and step-down unit nurse. 

Sara has spent most of her life in Bakersfield. Before she became a nurse, she was a 911 dispatcher and a United States Army Reservist. When not caring for patients, Sara enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
